.…Hello!

After muching prompting from family and friends I have decided to start this blog. Like many fashion fixated women out there I have an obscenely large collection of clothes, shoes, accessories, bags etc
(my wardrobes are 4 metres long and bursting at the seams) yet I only ever seem to throw on jeans and a tee with my favourite comfy boots for day to day living. This is just plain silly given the amount of choice I have!

I tried to make and stick to New Years Resolutions of; a.) Only wear jeans once a week b.) Wear one new item of clothing every week (I have so many things with the labels still on them) c.) Only wear my velour tracksuits to the gym (I threw them out as I did tend to slouch around the house in them whenever possible, sooooo comfy/not at all stylish) d.)Make at least one item of clothing a month……so far none of them have stuck hence this blog! My reasoning is; if I have to document and photograph what I’m wearing then I’ll (hopefully) put more thought into my outfits and actually make more of an effort to wear some of the fab things I already own, although this might lead to less shopping which would trouble me.

So, as I’ve said, here goes nothing…..

Today I had my 5th (!) interview for a position at a new fashion lifestyle store that’s opening in the new year on Regent Street. I had planned out my outfit the night before but when I came to get dressed today I discovered that I had thrown out both of the jumpers I thought would have worked with the look … EEK! This happens to me all the time, I have so much stuff that I totally forget I own some things and have gotten rid of others. Bit of a mad panic but ended up loving the outfit (as did my interviewer – bonus) very A/W 2010 YSL both myself and V (flatmate) thought!

I love these crystal and felt flower details on this skirt.

Hmmmm I really need to polish my boots!
