Finally! I’m feeling human again! I have had a semi productive day sorting out the pile of stuff in the corner of my room in anticipation of my desk arriving next week, putting away the huge pile of clothes that always seems to accumulate whilst I try and decide what to wear (and seeing as how I’ve been living in jogging bottoms and PJ’s this week I find that fairly impressive!) and I’ve actually managed to do a Jillian Michaels DVD which didn’t kill me as much as I thought it would after 10 days of nothing! Slighlty scary how quickly all your hard work can disappear though, my flexibility has taken a nose dive as has my stamina but I guess that is going to happen. Wouldn’t it be nice to do all the work and get the weight/body type you wanted then stop and it all stays the same? Damn the maintenance! Saying that though I do like being able to fit into the majority of my clothes again and having the confidence to go out in hot pants for Halloween so shouldn’t complain really!
I should go to work tonight but despite feeling better I’m not actually feeling up to being nice to complete strangers in a loud club, so I shall go to work tomorrow! I can do this because the Lord Mayor has scuppered our plans for fireworks fun by deciding to totally ignore the fact the bonfire night is on the 5th November and hold the Thames firework display on the 13th Novemeber! How very dare you Boris!
V came home today and asked why I was so dressed up! I think she’s just been so used to Michelin Man look over the last week that seeing me in actual clothes is a bit of a shock! Today I decided to wear …
Jumper: Miss Selfridge
Tee: Dorothy Perkins
Skirt: Firetrap
Tights: Dorothy Perkins
Socks: American Apparel
Boots: Office
Jacket: Arrogant Cat
Scarf: Tatty
Cuff: Metalskin at Kabiri
L decided tonight at about 8.37pm that she wanted to go to Ikea to buy a new chest of drawers for her room to “tidy it up some more” so after finding out that the Edmonton one is open till 10pm off we headed! This seems to be the best way to do Ikea as there was no one there and everything was weirdly tidy. We found what we needed and also brought home a 59p polar bear teddy for V as she was sad we had gone without her (she went out boozing without us….). Rather a random experience but something fun to do on a Thursday night!
Lots of Love
