So I’ve seen this interview doing the rounds on some of my favourite blogs Burn The Blonde, Blah Blah Becky and of course the fabulous oomph who has tagged me! I love reading these kinds of post because you get a bit more of an insight in to the person behind the words and pictures, hopefully you’ll enjoy my answers….
1. Why did you create your blog?
I created my blog on a bit of whim really, Tatty had kept saying to me that I should blog as my stories, dating and just general life, were very funny and blogging everyday might make me use more of my frankly enormous clothes collection (I did keep whining about never having anything to wear!). I’d seen the hash tag “#todayimwearing” on Twitter which lead me to Style Remains blog which in turn lead me to other blogs that I started reading on a daily basis and then Tattys comment popped into my head so I just started Kittenish Behaviour one evening when I got home from work.
2. What kind of blogs do you follow?
I love all different kind of blogs but mainly ones that are fashion orientated some of my favourites are Style of a Fashionista, Voodle, Vogue Gone Rouge and Come Over To The Dark Side We Have Candy, I read a few beauty blogs but I find that just makes me a little sad as I can rarely use the products they are talking about (damn my allergies!) and then funny ones like Sleep Talkin’ Man and Go Away.
3. Favourite make-up brands?
I’m allergic to most forms of make up so I really only use Max Factor or L’Oreal powder based products oh and Barry M on my nails.
4.Favourite clothing brand?
All Saints without a doubt, at least a lot of my wardrobe is from there and I can happily fantasy shop on their website for hours! Now if you asked for my favourite shoe brand I would have had far more difficulty in answering….
5.Your indispensable make-up product?
Mascara when I can wear it, I love Max Factor Lash Extension Mascara at the moment.
6. Your favourite colour?
Green, can’t you tell?
7.Your perfume?
Tom Ford Black Orchid, I love it!
8.Your favourite film?
Some Like It Hot
It still makes me laugh every time I watch it.
9.What country would you like to visit and why?
Australia as I’m a quarter Aussie (bit of Welsh and Irish thrown in there too) myself, I’m going there next September for my friends wedding and plan on visiting as many rellies and friends as possible while I’m there.
10. Write the last questions and answer it yourself. Why “Kittenish Behaviour”for your blog name?
Kittenish Behaviour comes from my nickname Kitten which Tatty kind of gave me and I kind of adopted about fourteen years ago. Tatty and I had only just met and were going out with a large group of friends for drinks around Ipswich, we all went back to someone’s flat to carry on chatting and drinking but I was so tired I curled up in Tatty’s lap and fell asleep! Tatty being the artist that she is drew this picture of me…
….I’d been called Kitten by a few people before and I think Tatty decided this night that it was an apt nickname for me. I’ve been Kitten Breeches ever since. As this blog is about my slightly crazy life “Kittenish Behaviour” seemed an ideal title.
