First of all thank you to the beautiful Arietta of Stripes and Scarlets for mentioning me in her Trendy Blogger Award post, she’s a lovely lady with a great sense of style and I always look forward to reading her daily posts.
So this evening I have my first official date with Blue Eyed Guy which I’m very much looking forward to, we are heading off for some drinks in the Charlotte Street area which is a favourite haunt of mine. It’ll be interesting to see how we get on as we were both a little tipsy when we intially met and I haven’t actually met anyone in a club/bar for years! I’ve decided to wear this…..

Hat, Gloves and Scarf: BHS
I feel very nautical because of the stripes and colours I think. This is the first outting for these shoes and I don’t know why I’ve waited so long as they are lovely and very comfortable (as are all my Red or Dead shoes), I need to start wearing more of my unworn things as these shorts fast became a favourite of mine and up until a few months ago they had never seen the light of day! So what do you guys think of this outfit, first date appropriate?
