First Things First

First things first…..I have officially been a Playboy Bunny Croupier for exactly one year! My goodness how time flies, I’ve had a wonderful year, met some fabulous people and got to do some pretty random and exciting things. I can’t wait to find out what this next year holds in store!

I’ve seen these charm necklaces around for a while and I always wanted one. Now, my friend L introduced me to Etsy a while ago and the rest is history really. I found all the bits and pieces I would need and thought “why not make them yourself!”. Etsy is an amazing site where you can find pretty much anything you ever thought of, I love it. Currently I’m tracking down fun/quirky fabrics to make circle skirts from (I’m not including fabric,zips, patterns etc in my shopping ban, although I will be keeping it to a minimum as I already have a LOT of fabric!), semi precious stones/beads that I want to turn into necklaces and yet more fabric as I might turn my hand to quilting! My fabulous Mum has recently taken it up and I’m loving the things she is showing me via FaceTime, I have no illusions that it will be easy but there are a few events coming up that I would like to have hand made presents for so I thought why not give it a go? I will be sure to show you the results!

Just before I leave here is a shot I took of The Ginger Terror last time I visited Papa on the Isle that is Wight…..

……I have no idea why her back leg is stuck out like that but she was enjoying the chin scratching so I’m guessing it was comfortable. Bizarre creature!
