Hey Peeps!

It’s been a while hey? How are you all? Are you still there more to the point!

I’ve been meaning trying to write this post for a long time now and for one reason or another it’s never been quite right so I’ve been putting it off and then suddenly it’s been two and half months! Ooops…… I’m definitely one of life’s procrastinators, there is always some reason to wait to do something; circumstances need to be just right or I don’t have exactly the right thing (equipment/paper/fabric/photo etc etc) or there is something else that needs to be done first…..this list could go on but you get the idea. There usually is an ideal time to be doing certain things and of course sometimes you do need to have exactly the right thing to get the job done but more often than not there are ways and means of accomplishing the goal regardless of these things (or lack of them) and that is the lesson I am trying to teach myself. As John Lennon once said…..

……and how right he is. Life is rarely going to align into the perfect set of circumstances so I have to learn to just crack on and get the things I want done done!

One of the “things” that has been on my mind and distracting me recently has been The Fella or the lack of him would be more correct. Despite my bravado and it being my decision to end things that last break up really did knock me for six (cricket term there, anyone watching The Ashes?) and I retreated into my shell to lick my proverbial wounds in private. I finally started feeling like me again a few weeks back which has been really rather pleasant…..so I’m back, aren’t you pleased!

I have lot’s of exciting things to tell you about but the most exciting has to be the new addition to the family (if you follow me on Instagram you will have already seen her)……

……this is Chiana or Chi my Russian Blue / Nebelung cross kitten. Isn’t she adorable and doesn’t she look like my logo!? I’ve had her for six weeks now and she is such a little character already, she will sit on command, walks on a lead (she’s an indoor London kitty so only gets to see the great outdoors whilst on the lead…….yes I am already 26% crazy cat lady assimilated), loves shoes and is an amazing spider catcher…….we are purrrrrfect (sorry I couldn’t resist) for each other!
