Hey Peeps!
How are you all today? Been up to anything exciting? As I’m not even half way through my year shopping ban (please remind me again why I thought this was a good idea?) I have been indulging in a little fantasy shopping! The rather lovely House of Fraser are running a competition to win a £200 shopping spree (I would totally be allowed to go shopping if I won!) and all you have to do is put together an outfit, a room or a beauty look inspired by one of these iconic fashion capitals…..
London – Paris – Milan – New York – Tokyo
……so without further ado here is what I came up with!
Dress: I love the Religion Obscenity dress for many reasons; the colour and pattern, errr hello it’s a maxi (got to love a good maxi……great for swishing about in) and the floatiness (this also helps with the swishing about).
Necklace: This Phase Eight Hamilton necklace is gorgeous; red, shiny and chunky whats not to love?
Jacket: I’ve been after a denim jacket with a difference for ages and this one really fits the bill, I love that it’s cropped and the stud detail gives it a little edge.
Ring: Shiny……excites! Sorry that’s the magpie in me….this Dyrberg Kern ring caught my attention as I was scrolling through the vast number of choices HoF have on offer (soooooo much choice) chunky yet elegant….perfect.
Earrings: Again the magpie in me chose these …… got to have a bit of bling and these Aurora Flash earrings certainly deliver.
Belt: If you know me at all you’ll know about my obsession with waist cinching belts and this Jaeger red lovely is perfect for this look.
Bracelet: I’ve always loved the Pandora charm bracelets, I like the idea of being able to get yourself a charm to remind you of an occasion or trip and the charms also make great pressies for those difficult to buy for peeps such as myself (or at least that’s what I’m told!) and they look good naked (oooo er misses) too.
Trainers: I recently spotted Teeny Welsh Bunny wearing these and instantly fell in lust! I’m not usually a trainers kinda gal but as these have a wedge and spikes I don’t think they class as “standard” trainers by any stretch of the imagination!
Bag: Last but not least is this lovely slouchy bag by Juno which I immediately added to my outfit as soon as I saw it. I have a love for large slouchy hobo bags that you can carry your life around in although my shoulder wishes I loved teeny tiny clutches!
So there you have it …… now…….. can you guess which fashion capital I had in mind? Honestly I would probably wear this to any of the amazing cities mentioned and feel fab but I promise I did have one in particular in mind when I put it all together!
